Fat-Burning Hot Chocolate

Serves 2


  • 3 tbsp dark, unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • Splenda or stevia, to taste


  • Whisk milk and cocoa powder together in a small saucepan.
  • Warm over medium heat, stirring constantly, until hot. Do not boil.
  • Remove from heat and add cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and sweetener. Serve hot with eco-friendly glass straws.
